Cannon-shaped smooth blued barrels, profusely decorated with gold-washed ornaments, the maker's initials "DR" in gold in a laurel wreath, nickel-plated counter lockplate and ramrod pipes, nicely shaped and lavishly engraved with acanthus leaf, elaborately fitted trigger guard and engraved pistol gripncap, walnut full-stock with steeply angled grip and fine chequering, in a - presumably later added - mahogany case, lined with morocco leather, with all accessories, year of manufacture about 1770, condition II-III.
