Except the Swiss type rear sight externally ordnance issue matching M.95 as a target rifle, calibre is the famous German target cartridge, also called Frohnpatrone. An Austrian version of the Gewehr 98 by Mauser, the so-called "Wehrmanngewehr". The conversion necessitated a change of the barrel, including rear sight, as well as a new bolt head. These three parts have been stamped with the original serial number. Very good condition, excellent bore, no proof. Condition II.
