65 cm slightly swamped octagonal barrel, 8 deep rifles, silver inlaid inscription "J. Adam Kuchenreuter in Regensburg", behind that a maker's mark, open sights, flat back-action lock, engraved with sparse foliate scroll, signed "Beckwith - London", safety slide behind the dolphin-shaped hammer, without counter-plate, single set trigger, forged trigger guard with finger rest, walnut half-stock, oval cheekpiece, steel buttplate 36 cm, horn tip, wedge fastener, ramrod with brass tip, year of manufacture around 1840, barrel presumably much older, front sling swivel missing, condition III-IV.
