63,5 cm chopper lump barrels, engine-turned quarter rib inscribed with maker's name (solder of the top rib starting to deteriorate at the breech end), express sights for 50 m and additional folding blade for 100 m, ejectors, bright action, hand-detachable back-action sidelocks, cocking indicators, intercepting sears, engraved with scroll and thistleleaf surrounded chiselled scenes, on the left fighting Cape buffalo in the bush, on the right elephants in the savannah, on action bottom a black rhino in front of a fever tree, signed "J. D.", trigger guard elongated to the pistol grip cap, in this a gold inlaid monogram, sliding tang safety, tang elongated to the comb, gold washed double triggers with articulated front blade, straight grained walnut stock with drop points, shallow pistol grip, fine chequering, oval cheekpiece, rubber recoil pad (this gummed and in need of repair) 36 cm, fore-end with Deeley latch, detachable sling swivels, year of manufacture 1985, due to marks of use to the stock condition 3.
