68,5 cm round Damascus barrels, dovetailed front sight, rear sight on tang, ornaments gold and silver inlaid on the breeches, inlaid maker's name, also on the lock plates, locks, trigger guard and breeches chiselled with scroll and game scenes, on tang a monogram panel engraved with archbishop's crown (?) above "H" (?), walnut half-stock with cheekpiece and iron furniture, especially the barrels heavily pitted, buttstock on the left in poor condition. The Viennese master gunsmith Bartusch is listed 1850-60, see "Der neue Stöckel" Bd. 1 S.62. Former high-grade arm in need of restoration, provenance: From the collection of Schloss Windern in Desselbrunn / Upper Austria, condition IV-V.
