Set of five fine sporting arms, gold numbered "I" to "V", by Josef Just Ferlach, all with matching engraving. This set was part of an international gun collection and was completed by Josef Just in 1987.
Number I and II: Pair of sidelock S/S shotguns 20/76, #24178 and 24179, § C
70 cm chopper lump barrels, engine-turned rib, inscribed "Josef Just in Ferlach", gold inlaid with "1" and "2", ejectors, choked cylinder & 1/4, third grip, bright action, bar-action sidelocks, cocking indicator, intercepting sears, side clips, fences carved with roses, disc set strikers, engraved breech, engraved with scroll surrounded chiselled game scenes, left pointers with pheasants, right fox with hares, on the action floor ducks, on the trigger guard a hen, behind the trigger guard gold numbered "I" and "II", all richly inlaid with gold ribbons, top lever pierced with the relief of a duck, automatic sliding tang safety, double trigger, well grained walnut stock, fore-end with Anson push-rod, fine chequering, straight hand, grooved horn cap 37, year of manufacture 1987, condition 2.
