General's sabre from a member of the Royal Italian Family of Savoy

84 cm curved blade, presumably nickel coated, fullered, stamped on the ricasso "Bleckmann", etched and gold-washed with trophies and inscribed “Regnando S. M. Umberto I. - Esercito Italiano”, hilt of pierced steel sheet on the tierce an oval engraved with the crowned coat of arms of Savoy, ribbed ivory handle, without scabbard, total length 98 cm, weight 0.75 kg, made in the late 19th century, the Bleckmann works produced the famous "Phoenix" steel in Mürzzuschlag, Styria, condition III.
