76 cm barrels, concave engine turned rib, ejectors, choked 1/2 & 3/4, bright fancy-backed action, side clips, umbrella-shaped fences, on the left Greener safety with gold inlaid "Safe", Greener crossbolt, engraved with oakleaf framed panels of gundog scenes, pointer with partridges, spaniel with duck, woodcock on action bottom, double triggers, well grained walnut stock, straight hand, horn insert, fore-end with horn-schnabel tip and Deeley latch, Silver's rubber recoil pad 37,5 cm, blank gold stock oval, in its maker's oak and leather case with trade label and original acc.essories. year of manufacture 1908. Stunningly well preserved pair of guns with consecutive numbers, the famous G-Guns were on a par with the London best sidelocks (and the G 60 Royal Grade were also as expensive to buy), not to be mixed up with the similar looking Anson & Deeley boxlock, condition 3.
