62 cm octagonal barrel, flat engine-turned top engraved with maker's name, open sights, shaped fence, T-bolt action type Lefaucheux with long underlever beneath the fore-end, formerly colour-hardened rounded action, rebounding bar-action hammer lock, engraved with English scroll, hammer with hare's ear spur and safety slide, folding aperture sight on tang, trigger guard with finger grooves, double set trigger, steel buttplate, walnut fullstock with straight comb, curved cheekpiece, a gold inlaid chamois, 34 cm, one-piece fore-end with horn schnabel tip, cleaning rod pipes of antlers, intermediate schnabel, patchbox with chequered sliding lid holding the second part of the cleaning rod, the horn handle to this is screwed beneatch the buttstock, sling swivels, year of manufacture about 1880, functional historic hunting rifle from the age of Emperor Franz Joseph I. in well preserved condition III.
