72 cm barrels of browned twist Damascus, concave rib, gold inlaid maker‘s name, silver ribbons inlaid breeches, back-action locks, dolphinshaped hammers, safety levers for both hammers, foliate scroll surrounded silver inlaid scenes, dog with partridges on the left, fox with bird on the right, nickel silver furniture, trigger guard engraved with hawk, forged finger rest with rocaille, stock of grained walnut, Fleur-de-Lis chequering, sloping cheekpiece, behind that carved in rococo style, original ebony ramrod with brass tip and worm, year of manufacture about 1850, Johann Adam Kuchenreuter (1794-1861) was purveyor to the Royal Bavarian Court and the princes of Thurn and Taxis, fine sporting arm condition II.
