After the Colt patent had expired in 1857 the Manhattan Arms Manufacturing Co. in New Jersey made this type of gun. address on top of the 5 " octagonal barrel, matching numbered, faint cylinder engraving, finish very spotty, on the right various dents on barrel and frame, smooth walnut grips, condition III-IV.
