Bergmann pistols belong to the very first self loading pistols, originating in the 1890s. Our specimen is a successor of the mod. 1903 and was offered on the market since about 1902. In Spain and Denmark military introduced a lot of these models were also sold on the commercial market. In the German Army it was used in WWI as an auxiliary gun. Our specimen is a commercial one of the 1908 type. Original condition, good bore, partly pitted and spotted, ca. 70% original finish. No valid proof - rare collectibe pistol, condition III-IV.
