Introduced in Poland in 1935, the Browning system army pistol (single action trigger) continued to be manufactured for the German armed forces under the lead of Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG after the defeat of Poland by the German Wehrmacht in 1939. In the process, the manufacture of important parts as well as final asgerman claw mountbly was transferred to Steyr, as it was feared that pistols would be illegally diverted in Radom for purposes of Polish resistance. Late production of a Radom from Steyr, type 4 without decocking lever, acceptances „hawk over 77“ and „hawk over WaA 626“, shallow original bluing, brown plastic grip panels, original magazine, no valid proof (collector‘s weapon), condition II-III.
