Johann Michelitsch was a hunting weapon manufacturer based in Ferlach and a member of the local gunsmiths' cooperative. He produced traditional hunting rifles, but optimized them with his own technology. He developed his own patented locking system for break-barrel guns, which allows the barrel to be removed without removing the forearm. At the same time, this system locks extremely reliably. The business was terminated without succession.
