Blued barrels with brass front sights, producer‘s name inlaid in silver on the barrel rib, rear third engraved with hunting scenes at the top and marked with various marks and partly inlaid in gold. Locks also engraved with animal motifs, as are the embossed brass fittings. The cocking catch on a weapon doesn‘t hold. Flash rust on the barrel of both weapons, more so on one. In a modern cardboard box, covered or lined with blue velvet. Accessories: Contemporary powder flask (cap broken, included) and stock with German cheekpiece and plaster drawer (including bullets and plasters), which is to be mounted on the pistols as follows: At the top of the butt there is a brass medallion which can be opened after a 90- degree rotation. The stock can be mounted into the now exposed cavity like a bayonet lock, again with a 90 degree rotation. Nice pair of civilian battery lock pistols from the mid-18th century.
