Swiss ordnance pistol of the first generation as a commercial model. So called (according to BOBBA, Parabellum) series 1a without groove for the follower knob inside the gripframe. 120 mm long barrel, DWM-monogram on front toogle link, Swiss Cross in starburst on chamber. All numbers matching as far as visible, "BUG" marks on barrel plus old English caliber designation "172,28"of ca. 92% of original blueish black brush blueing , worn off at the edges, small parts straw hardened. Good walnut-grip panels, sheet metal magazine with flat follower knob (1st type). Safety lever with square cut checkering, very good bore condition. Comes with an original holster of the Swiss military pattern of 1900 with shoulder strap without manufacturer's mark. Good condition specimen of an early commercial Swiss Luger, no valid proof - condition III.
