4 inch barrel, adjustable rear-sight, blued wide spur hammer with bright sides, blued trigger, chequered walnut grips with 'COLT' medallion, in virtually new condition, in factory carton. Only about 15,000 ".357" model revolvers were produced between 1954 and 1962. They were in effect a deluxe larger caliber version of the Trooper and a precursor to the Python. With the launch of the Python in 1955 the '"357" was quickly obsolete and was absorbed by Trooper line in 1962. Made in 1958, no proof marks, condition 1-2
