66 cm octagonal barrel, inscribed with the New Bond Street address and "Winners of All the Field Rifle Trials", bore damaged and due to the obsolete cartridges ideally suited for a small-bore inserted barrel, e.g. .22 Hornet, folding front sight with two different heights and two folding rear sight leaves inscribed for 50 and 100 yards, ejector, extremely slim action with underlugs and well preserved hardening colours, scroll engraved with maker's name in banners, finely adjusted trigger, automatic sliding safety with gold inlaid inscription "Safe" on tang, straight grained walnut stock with old professional repairs, shallow pistol-grip with engraved steel cap, oval cheekpiece and steel buttplate 35 cm, blank gold stock oval, tear-off fore-end with horn tip, 2,3 kg, year of manufacture about 1890, due to the damaged bore condition III.
