Walnut stock with sloping cheek piece and steel butt-plate of 35cm. Foreend with "schnabel" and fastening wedge. 3.1 Kg, sporting rifle with bolt action similar to a Mauser 1871, presumably by Victor Christian Schilling of Suhl, without makers name or proof, built in approximately 1865-1870, condition II-III.
