Detail

English revolver around 1855, 14.5 cm long octagonal barrel in . 54 bore (= .44), border engraved on frame, on rhs the patent number. Signed "L.A.C." (for the maker) in coat of arms with crown on rhs. English blue high gloss finish, spotted and worn off at the edges, trigger guard slightly pitted. In case, inside lined with green felt with powder flask, outside on lid a medallion with "A.W. Boys". Condition III-IV.
