Extremely rare underlever rifle after Andrew Burgess' patent, 51 cm barrel with slightly bulged bore in last third, receiver engraved with the rising stallion logo on the left and a saddle ring, barrel inscribed with Colt's Hartford address, only about 800 units produced in this configuration, London proof, weight 3.21 kg. There is a legend about this weapon that Winchester persuaded Colt to stop production after only 16 month and in exchange they never introduced their own revolver design, condition III
