73 cm bright brushed barrels of twist Damascus, flat rib, signed on the underside "F. Bernard - Canonier à Paris", extractor, t-bolt action with long rotating underlever beneath the fore-end typee Lefaucheux, back-action hammer locks, inscribed with the maker's name, bright action engraved with fine wine leaves, double triggers, French style trigger guard, nicely grained stock of walnut with straight hand and sloping cheekpiece, en-suite engraved steel buttplate 35 cm, fore-end renewed, late work of the renowned Viennese gunmaker of the Royal and Imperial Court who is recorded until 1865, 3 kg, year of manufacture before 1870, bores pitted and barrels a little spotty near the muzzle, therefore condition III.
