72 cm smooth barrels of twist Damascus, concave rib, signed with the maker's address, back-action locks finely engraved with bold scroll surrounded game scenes, rounded action with traces of colour, dolphin-shaped hammers, the ingenious detachable rotating barrel block allows to choose in case of a shortage of cartridges between muzzle loading percussion and breech loading pin-fire cartridges from the same pair of barrels, walnut stock with straight hand, French-style trigger guard with hinged front lever to lock the barrel block in place, ramrod missing, engraved with the patent date 1865, made before 1870, total length 114 cm, 3.2 kg, barrels externally spotted, condition III.
