Lot: 28

Parabellum, P08 first series, DWM, 9 mm Luger, 1216a, § B

Starting price 3.000 EUR
Result:
3.000 EUR

Early version of a military P08 without action catch and notch for the shoulder stock. Very good condition, ca. 96% of original finish, small parts straw hardened, right grip panel with dent. Contemporary magazine but without matching number. Imperial German acceptance marks on lhs plus DWM-logo on toogle. 1913 all P08 had been reworked by attaching a action catch. Our pistol is in the original, old condition - a very rare specimen. See GÖRTZ / STURGESS, The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols, pp463. A real goodie for the Luger collector! Condition I-II.
