113 cm, bright, smooth, tapered barrel, on top a flat rib inscribed "Bislinger", soldered gilt front sight, V-shaped rear sight of nickel silver on a barrel band, gold washed flash hole, flintlock in French style, raised with flat centre, finely engraved with various sphinges, battery nicely shaped, flat cock, iron furniture, finely pierced and engraved counter-plate, trigger guard with finger rest, pierced plate on tang, steel buttplate elongated over the whole of the comb, nicely grained walnut half stock, on the left fluted, on the right a pierced nickel silver plate inlaid with engraved monogram "CF" beneath a German price's crown, walnut ramrod in 3 pipes, sling swivels, the rifle maker Bislinger is listed in "Heer - Der Neue Stoeckel" in Vienna about 1680, fine luxury gun in excellent preservation, condition II.
