71 cm barrels, in the choked section sharp lead rifling, choked effectively full & full, ejectors (springs removed but included), quarter rib with 2 folding rear sights, 50 and 100 yds, inscribed with Leith Street Terrace address, slightly fancy-backed action with faint traces of colour, side bolsters, sideclips, Anson & Deeley boxlock, Greener crossbolt, automatic sliding tang safety with gold inlaid "Safe", obviously restocked walnut stock, drop points, straight hand, chequered horn buttplate 37 cm, blank silver stock oval, fore-end with horn schnabel tip, Deeley latch, including 71 cm exchangeable barrels choked cylinder & 3/4, concave rib, ivory bead and auxiliary bead, ejectors, in its maker's canvas covered case with trade label, oil bottle, some small parts (ejector springs, single trigger including springs, etc.), including the original buttstock, left stock horn cracked and splinter included, technically interesting, rare gun of the well renowned Scottish rifle maker, year of manufacture about 1900, condition 3.
