Hunting dagger around 1890, 27,5 cm broad single edged nickel plated blade, signed "L.ZEITLER Vienna VIII". On the obverse of the blade Zeitler marks (crossed sabres and miner's hammers), on the sword shell the old Viennese coat of arms on a brass plaque, hinting to the use as a service arm of a forester or game keeper of the City of Vienna during the monarchy (today MA 49). Staghorn handle metal pommel with acorn and oakleaf (missing the middle ornament), s-shaped guard, black leather covered wooden sheath, silver plated furniture, decorated with a stag and hound. A small secondary knife with nickel plated, 85 mm blade and Staghorn handle, both a little rusty, condition III.
