Orasche - Ferlach, round action with some original colour, T bolt action with rotating underlever beneath the trigger guard, back-action hammer lock on the right, inscribed „J. Heinige in Wien“, hammer with hare‘s ear spur, fine scroll engraving, double set trigger, folding aperture sight in tang, engraved steel buttplate with trap for two cartridges, original walnut full-stock, split fore-end with lever fastener, semi-pistol grip, oval cheekpiece, Viennese claw mounted Kahles Mignon 4x20, lenses a little dull, year of manufacture presumably before 1900, obsolete Ferlach proof, Joseph Heinige is registered in Vienna around 1880, the barrel was presumably added in Ferlach in 1937, condition 4.
