81 cm barrels, top gold inlaid "Stoermer in Herzberg", concave rib, locks adapted from flintlock to0 percussion, inscribed with maker's name and parts with old engraving, safety levers for the hammers, right sear defective, dolphin-shaped hammers (left one inexpertly replaced), iron furniture, horn trigger guard with finger rest, walnut stock, sloping cheekpiece, horn buttplate 35cm, broken original ramrod with horn tip, year of manufacture about 1800 adapted about 1840, the gunmaker family Stoermer stems from Hannover and was purveyor to the Royal Court around 1850, condition IV.
