Slightly dull bore, no proof marks visible. Sliding rear sight with early scale 1 - 10. Large ring hammer, long extractor. Firing pin with only one locking lug. Inscribed "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF a/N" on top of breech. Bottom of barrel marked "crown above AV" as property stamp of the Royal Italian Navy, original, largely patinated finish, partially small-grained. shoulder stock with the final numbers 982 in good condition without crack, condition (II-III).
