71 cm chopper lump barrels of Whitworth steel (probably shortened), concave rib with maker's address, ejectors, choked cylinder & cylinder, originally colour hardened action with traces of colours, fine rose and scroll engraved, self-opening bar action sidelocks type Beesley, cocking indicators, intercepting sears, disc set strikers, gas vents, sliding tang safety gold inlaid with "Safe", double triggers, walnut stock, drop points, straight hand, elongated with wood by 4,5 cm to 38,5 cm, chequered butt, fore-end with Anson push-rod, all parts numbered "1" &"2", gold inlaid stock oval engraved with crest, gold numbered "1" and "2" on comb, year of manufacture 1900, later London nitro proof, in a leather case for a pair of guns, with leather covered handguards, reworked to condition 3.
