Reservist's pipe of monumental proportions, length with mouth tube bent over 103 cm. "2nd Esc(adron) (Prussian) Ul(anen R(e)g(imen)t 3 (Alexander II of Russia). due to inscription on porcelain pipe bowl property of Adolf Opitz, served from 1899 to 1902. Pipe bowl shaped as an Ulan's helmet. The pipe stem consists of antlers and buffalo horn parts, wrapped with cord, ending in 2 tassels. On the pipe bowl rear approx. 36 names of the applicable recruit year. Exceptional, original reservist pipe with many interesting and elaborate details in almost mint condition, a top piece!
