Barrel length 60 cm (23,5"), stock length 34,5 cm (13,50"), overall length 102 cm (40"), weight 4,2 kg, year of manufacture 1972, Austrian proof, condition 2
Offset filed rib inscribed with dealer name "Waffen Fautschek - Pulkau", fixed sight, extractor, automatic sliding tang safety, double trigger with set trigger in front trigger blade, fixed screwed forearm, bascule engraved with oak leaves and game scenes, red deer left and wild boar right, bascule inscribed with "Joh. Michelitsch, Ferlach - Austria, Pat. angem." Walnut stock with skip-line chequering, horn pistol grip cap, engraved stock magazine for 4 cartridges, ventilated rubber recoil pad, trigger guard engraved with arabesques and gold inlaid "FS". German claw mount with scope Kahles Helia-Super 39 S1, reticle 8.
An extraordinary system, which was adopted in a slightly modified form by other manufacturers such as TOZ.
The bolt system, patented by Johann Michelitsch in 1971 and approved in 1974, is based on a quarter-circle shaped rail that guides the barrels when the rifle is broken. When the flap attached to the fore-end is opened, the gun is also disassembled at the same time during breaking and is just as easy to reassemble. The wedge-shaped breech blocks on the side, together with the two breech hooks/noses, provide a safe and easy-to-use system, with a very solid and positive connection at the same time, as used in Woodward systems.
