R. Balneari" for the master engraver Rodolfo Balneari in the trigger guard, walnut stock with subtle grain, polished oil stock with closed pores, fine checkering, straight grip, soft rubber recoil pad, beavertail forend with Anson push-rod, blank gold monogram plate, in leather case with maker's canvas cover with trade label.
Luxury gun of the finest Italian quality with unusually understated appearance as freshly shipped from Fabbri. The additional American dealer address on the underside of the barrel was engraved due to a planned export, but this obviously never took place.
