Acceptances "eagle over 63" on the right, matching numbers (including magazine) as far as can be seen, good barrel, nice original finish - still with yellow tempered parts for handling - with the traces of use in the usual places, very well maintained gun.

Mauserwerke in Oberndorf am Neckar was one of the most efficient and innovative gun factories in the world until 1945. The Mauser 71 and 98 rifle systems were milestones in weapons manufacturing. In the mid-1930s, Mauser took over the production of Parabellum pistols from DWM and produced about 1 million units of this famous pistol system until 1945.
