Barrel length 73 cm (28,75"), stock length 35,5 cm (14"), overall length 113 cm (44,5"), year of manufacture about 1860, condition 3 (except for described defects).
Barrels made of fine damascus, straight rib inlaid with gold "Joh. Springer in Wien" and gold thread inlay at barrel root. Forearm permanently fixed with a flap for disassembling the weapon, swivel lever for breaking the shotgun, finely facconated hammer with shaded oak leaf engraving, recoiling back action hammer locks, fire shields, engraved over the entire surface with animal scenes surrounded by shaded oak leaves on the lock plate left fox hunting birds, right hound pointing, on the bascule left pheasants, on right quails, on swivel lever capercaillie bordered by gold, on trigger plate snipe bordered by gold and between hammers engraving of fox framed by gold, double trigger, carved horn finger rest, walnut stock, fine chequering, cheek piece, iron recoil plate with shaded oak foliage and serial number, stock crack in area of the tang, flash rust on barrel.
