Starting price 1.600 EUR
Result:
1.800 EUR

Barrel length 26,5 cm (10,4"), overall length 41,5 cm (16,3"), weight 1,16 kg, made around 1790, percussionized around 1830. condition 3.
The barrel pairs consist of one rifled and one smoothbore barrel, arranged side by side. The maker is engraved on the rails. The sights consist of brass front sight and rear sight on the tail screw. These are percussion, former flintlock weapons adapted to percussion with elaborate lock construction, with hammer safeties. The metal parts in spotty condition despite cleaning but without large or deep scars. The walnut stocks have brass fittings decorated with engravings.
Lazaro Lazarino of Braga/Italy came from the gun town of Brescia and was active from about 1783 to around 1800. His son of the same name from about 1800 to 1850, so our pair of pistols was more likely adapted to percussion by the son, although the basic weapons may have come from the father.
