Stamped on original barrel "Royal Shooting Gun C. Hunt & Co Ltd Birmingham and London" "Siemens Martins Steel Best Quality", wide matted rib, brass front sight, proof Birmingham. The interchangeable barrel also with wide matted rib. Both lightly pitted, with ejectors, each stock engraved with marginal engraving, the English one with arabesques matching the base.
Forearm with Anson trigger, additional lock over doll's head with Greener crossbolt, bascule decorated up to the fences with arabesques and floral bouquet, reinforced barrel flanks, crown inlaid in gold on key, lever and trigger guard dark blued, cocking indicator, sliding tang saftey, double trigger with dodge trigger guard, straight walnut stock with fine chequering and drops and carved butt end.
Particularly massive construction, reminiscent of the big game rifles of the time in the area of the system. In the version a rare set with original barrel variant and practical interchangeable barrel and versatile ammunition selection with the more common cartridge chamber.
