Dimensions with interchangeable barrel Barrel length 70 cm (27,5"), stock length 39cm (15,5"), overall length 116 cm (45,75"), choke 1/4 & 3/4 (IC & IM), weight also 3 kg, year of manufacture and proof identical.
Demibloc barrels engraved with "F.lli Piotti Gardone VT", smooth concave rib, brass front sight, ejectors, finish with marginal engraving, the rib at the end decorated with arabesques, the additional barrel recognizable by a star inlaid in gold, bascule and fences engraved over the entire surface with arabesques and shaded floral bouquets, these stand out plastically as a result, nevertheless decorated trigger, bowl and the bearded edge trigger guard, signed "Granetti", firing pins removable from the front, slide safety at the tang, "Flli Piotti" inlaid in gold at the base and a crown in the key, roughened single trigger, straight walnut stock with fine chequering, letters "PR" inlaid in gold and cut stock end, forearm with Anson trigger decorated with sunburst on the inside, Piotti emblem inlaid in gold and engraving matching the system. In a matching leather case with maker's emblem.
Sensationally well preserved masterpiece from Brescia in practically mint condition. The engraving by Granetti is on absolute top level and exciting from all angles. An exclusive set and a piece of Italian craftsmanship.
