Barrel length 72 cm, stock length 31 cm, year of manufacture around 1720, condition 3. Heavy rifled octagonal barrel with standing sights, signed with the manufacturer's name at the top, engraved lock plate with monogram "FZA", German engraver with needle trigger, lock counter plate ornamented and pierced with tendril engraving and grimace, iron fittings , walnut full stock with folded cheekpiece, intersections and horn finish at the front, plaster compartment at the bottom of the butt, small missing parts and cracks. Horn dopper of the ramrod. In a modern wooden case with snap fasteners, lined with green velvet. Georg Zöffel worked as a gunsmith in Wiesenthal, Saxony, and lived from around 1695 to 1730.
