Barrel length 9 cm (3.5“), total length 13.5 cm (5.25“), weight 0.75kg, year of manufacture around 1975, Austrian proof, condition 2. Ramp front sight, fixed rear sight, serrations on the slide, double-action Only system, trigger with adjustable trigger stop, on the housing „Mod. LM-4“ for Lichtmann Model 4 (according to the developer Philip Lichtmann), plastic grip panels. Holster and reproduction reserve magazine. Particularly early version of the pistol, marked with „Patents Pending“ (Semmerling Corp. Boston, Mass.) on the slide and the Austrian proof (from 1978) and, according to the serial number, one of the earliest civilian versions ever. The concept was initially intended as a variant for the US Army or other authorities in the USA, primarily due to its compact dimensions and high effectiveness thanks to the proven 45 AUTO caliber. Overall, a technically exceptional pistol for system collectors that was only manufactured in very small numbers (around 600). Locking safety device on the right side (can be moved downwards by gently pulling on the trigger, prevents opening in the holster or in a vertical position). Manual repeating, especially using the one-handed “snap” method to fire additional cartridges from the magazine. During the „snap“ a cartridge is loaded with a short snap of the hand along the longitudinal axis (a cartridge in the chamber will be ejected).
