Barrel length 79.5 cm (31“), stock length 33 cm (13“), total length 116 cm (45.5“), weight 2 kg, year of manufacture around 1780, condition 3. Damascus barrel, octagonal in the rear third, otherwise round, brass front sight , on the barrel „K.K. Court rifle chamber“ on the lock plate „IN VIENNA“, a „5“ inlaid in silver on the tail screw (recorded as a serial number, actually the number 5 of the court rifle chamber), lock, tail screw and fittings engraved. On the neck of the butt there is a silver monogram plate with a monogram that is difficult to interpret ( „F?“). In good condition apart from slight rust on the rear part of the barrel. Stamped „446“ on the stock. The Court Rifle Chamber was an imperial weapons collection, which is now part of the Art History Museum as the Court Hunting and Armory Chamber in the Vienna Hofburg.
