Bolt action rifle Mosin-Nagant M39 Finland SKY cal. 7.62 x 53 R #503925 § C

Starting price 500 EUR

Barrel length 69 cm (27“), stock length 34 cm (13.5“), total length 118 cm (46.5“), weight 4.5 kg, year of manufacture 1942, Finnish proof, condition 3. Very good bore, with sling. In the interwar period, Finland converted Russian Mosin-Nagant rifles on a large scale into various Finnish models, which were characterized by great precision and robustness. System rubbed and corresponding traces of revision, on the left the lettering „Asetekno“ - Finnish for weapons technology, including one series of notched marks. SKY version also with subsequent military SA stamp (suomen armeija for the Finnish Army), civilian follow-up proof in 2001. The symbol of the „Suojeluskuntain Yliesikunta“ (Civil Guard) „S49“ is embossed on the right side of the shaft. An interesting piece from the various stages of Finnish weapons and military history through to the civilian market.
