Interchangeable barrel 72 cm (28.5“) narrow straight rail, chokes 1/4, subsequently manufactured and adjusted in 1965, Italian proof, condition 2. This one is only marked with Perazzi Brescia. A rare piece of Italian shotgun history. Perazzi brought Fabbri, who came from the automotive industry, on board to make competition shotguns. The result exceeded all expectations and a sensational success was achieved with Ennio Mattarelli‘s Olympic victory in 1964. In the same year, this shotgun was manufactured and finely refined for the end customer. While this shotgun dates back to the early days, today names like Perazzi, Galeazzi, Fabbri and Mattarelli are widely known and have legendary status. Without exact caliber stamping therefore declared as “12/65 (?)“
