Technically very interesting sidelock over-and-under shotgun that is based on a conversion of the technology of double-barreled shotguns. The base of the receiver is therefore reminiscent of sidelock double-barreled shotguns, which are then topped up accordingly. The locks are based on the Holland-Holland system. Shotguns of this type were manufactured by Defourny as well as other companies that awarded contracts to use this patent. In the breech there is only the patent reference and no information as to whether Defourny himself made this weapon - so a Belgian manufacturer from that time, such as Francotte, could be behind it. Defect - firing pin of the lower barrel does not come off.
