Browned Damascus barrels pitted, engraved with "self-cocking system J. P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl", pearl front sight, auxiliary front sight, wide concave matted rib, doll's head, extractor, patented self-cocking system from Sauer with cocking indicator, side locks with rear springs and catch rods, firing pins removable from the front, extensively engraved receiver, tendrils and floral motifs on the housing, wild scenes engraved on the cocking piece plates, slide tang safety, double trigger, metal trigger guard engraved with tendrils, sling swivel eyes, walnut stock with checkered skin, various cores, forend with Deeley catch and Ebony buttstock with pistol grip, engraved metal grip cap, oval cheekpiece and cut horn buttplate. Old German proof, not fully recognizable, not valid. Collector's weapon without (valid) proof, left for safekeeping due to its art or collector's value.
