Detail

Barrel length 17.5 cm, year of manufacture around 1770, condition 3. Patinated iron parts, barrel, tail screw and lock with gold inlays, "LONDON" with 3 forge marks on the top back of the barrel, "Barrouilhet Marseille" on the cocking piece plate, stock artistically decorated with fine silver inlays and brass decorated, trigger guard, lock plate and pommel made of silver. The gunsmith in Marseille was active from around 1735 to 1778.
