70 cm barrels with doll's head, flat engine-turned rib, express sights with two additional folding leaves for 200 and 300 yds, extractors, fancy backed action with side bolsters and trigger plate locks, finely engraved with relief foliate scroll, traces of colour, automatic sliding safety on the tang, double triggers, straight grained walnut stock with semi pistol-grip and Silver's rubber recoil pad, LOP 38.5 cm, silver stock oval initialised "RL", slim fore-end with horn tip and Deeley latch, German claw mounted Kahles Helia 27S2, reticule No. 4, barrels with old German proofmarks and renewed London Nitro proof for the .400/350 NE with the 310 grs bullet (identical to the .350 Rigby No. 2, wich uses the 225 grs bullet), this cartridge is comparable to the 9.3x74R, which cases can be used to form this British cartridge. Included in this lot are about 400 cases and about 600 bullets. In its maker's original leather case with restored trade label. Handy rifle for driven or dangerous game, made by the renowened London gunmaker especially famous for his small bore guns, 4 kg (including scope), year of manufacture between 1905 and 1929 according to the barrel address, condition 2- 3.
