Swiss ordnance pistol of the first generation as a commercial model. So called (according to BOBBA, Parabellum) series 1a without groove for the follower knob inside the gripframe. 120 mm long barrel, DWM-monogram on front toogle link, Swiss Cross in starburst on chamber. All numbers matching as far as visible, "BUG" marks on barrel plus old English caliber designation "172,28", heavily reworked and reblued. Small parts straw hardened. Well used walnut grip panels, sheet metal magazine with flat follower knob (1st type). Safety lever with square cut checkering, poor bore condition. Comes with an original holster of the Swiss military pattern of 1900, manufactured by E. Hintermann in Gattikon/Zürich 1919. Reworked specimen of an early commercial Swiss Luger, no valid proof - Condition IV.
