Very rare presentation sword, known from literature, 79 cm long steel blade, etched rose Damascus pattern, double fuller, double-sided unsharpened, cast grip of silverplated bronze, relief scenes of allegories depicting the goddess Germania as deity of war and of peace on each side, blossom garlanded juvenile portrait and laurel wreathed skull on the crossguard, thus ending in two rams' heads, pommel in the shape of a stylised crown with oakleaf and an acorn for fixing the tang, ribbons and twines in the art nouveau style, made as inalienable exemplary for showing the skills of the well renowned Solingen maker in the historicism style of the Third Reich, total length 100 cm, see also Thomas Johnson, "Collecting the Edged Weapons of the Third Reich", volume 6, page 162 and 163, condition II.
